8
teams competing

The tenth Women's Asia Cup runs 28 August to 13 September 2026 in the UAE, with eight teams playing T20I over sixteen days. The group draw did something this format usually saves for later, though - it put India and Pakistan in the same group, so that fixture happens well before any final is decided.

Fantasy-cricket picks usually firm up once squads are locked in, and the Dream11 app page is on this catalog for anyone setting a squad for the tournament.

Groups and Teams

Two groups of four:

Sri Lanka defend the title they won in 2024. India show up as the most decorated side in the competition's history. Top two from each group go through; the final is 13 September.

Full Schedule

All 15 matches play out at a single venue, Dubai International Cricket Stadium, under lights, kicking off at 20:00 IST (18:30 UAE local time) every night of the tournament.

Bangladesh and Indonesia open their campaigns against each other on 31 August, and we've got the full match guide for that one.

India vs Pakistan on 5 September is the tournament's marquee fixture, and our preview covers squads and recent form.

Squad Updates

India come in without Jemimah Rodrigues. A high-grade hamstring tear during The Hundred ruled her out; Pratika Rawal takes her spot. Bangladesh stick with Nigar Sultana Joty as captain, Nahida Akter as her deputy. Pakistan hand the armband back to Fatima Sana after she sat out the Sri Lanka series to play The Hundred instead.

Indonesia's squad, as of 24 August, was still TBC on the ICC site. We'll drop it in the moment it's official - not pulled from some older list floating around elsewhere.

Squad lists change fast this close to a tournament. This page gets updated through 13 September as things shift.

How the Knockout Stage Works

The top two from each group go straight into the semis, with the final set for 13 September. Since India and Pakistan already play each other in the group stage this time, a second meeting in the final is possible - but not guaranteed. Both would need to finish in the top two of Group A, then both win a semi-final, before it happens.
